Food Combining – a New Book about an Old Idea

Food combining has been around since the days of (Suzanne) Somerizing. But a new book by Raymond Francis,  Never Be Sick Again, claims that the way we eat our food may interfere with the way our body digests the nutrients. Francis offers the following suggestions:

  • Fruit should be eaten alone as a meal or snack.
  • Protein should be eaten only with non-starchy vegetables, never starches or starchy vegetables
  • Starches should also only be eaten with vegetables, both starchy or non-starchy.
